Located at the top of the public jetty at Itchenor within the picturesque Chichester Harbour, Haines Boatyard has become synonymous with the skills required to restore and maintain a varied range of classic keelboats and yachts.

A large fleet of traditional keelboats are actively raced at Itchenor Sailing Club. These include the Alfred Westmacott designed elegant Sunbeams together with the more traditional XOD’s, as well as the Tom Thornycroft designed National Swallow Class.

Haines have set the standards in achieving the state of the art craftsmanship and skills required for the ultimate care of these exceptional classes of keelboats.

Our vision is to take Haines Boatyard to the next stage and become ‘a centre of excellence’ for the restoration and care of traditional yachts
